I have been searching for cards suitable for chinese new year but could not find any notable one. I mean the one made with paper that need to be sent by hand. Most of them are just e-card, thousands of them but I know that some prefer paper-made-greeting-card. Even if it's a traditional one but such card hold much more meaning and sometimes used as home decoration. Plus you have a chance to produce your own card, made by your own effort which is more meaningful. Am i right?

It is late but since zodiac year only repeat once every twelve years and it looks cool so I will feature it just in case someone is looking for animal theme specially tiger. Have you ever see live performance of lion dance? I can count how many times I saw them and they're fantastic. The show needs a good cooperation from the team members to display a smooth movement. The most interesting part is when they jump from a pillar to a higher one, looks dangerous. Well, they are acrobats in general so it's a piece of cake for them.

Lion dance is not only be played during Chinese New Year but also in other big occasion such as wedding, business opening ceremonies etc. It is usually performed as a ceremony to exorcise evil spirits and bring good fortune.

Still on animal papercraft. Since this year is year of tiger and later is Chinese New Year, enjoy this tiger paper model by Konika Minolta. Yes, it is modeled after Sumatran tiger which is nearly instinct, only 400-500 of them left in the wild. It can be found naturally in Sumatra, a large island in western Indonesia.
